I Swear by this Mac N Cheese Recipe

In the spirit of Thanksgiving this week, I wanted to share one of my all time favorite mac ‘n cheese recipes with y’all! It’s super easy to whip together and I promise you will go home with requests for the recipe.

For me, easy is where it is at when it comes to holiday prep. After years of getting swept away in the excitement of the holiday season and drowning in bills in January, I know myself enough to know I need boundaries this time of year. Before the season starts, I set my limit so I’m not covered in tinsel, crying because my hand made holiday cards didn’t dry in time. It’s all store bought cards, decorations, and easy make ahead recipes for me. I’ve learned “easy prep” helps me remain present and enjoy the season more. (If that isn’t you, that’s totally okay too!) For many of us, if we’re not careful, we overlook these last 2 months as time to finalize yearly goals & enter into the new year with a wobbly start. It makes sense too because we’ve been working at it for 10 months now, and it is easy to get distracted by the silver & gold of this season. Yet we have been working on our goals for 10 months now, and it is not time to slow down, it is time to cross the finish line.

You’ve made incredible progress this year as you’ve live more intentionally and been clear about the woman you’re becoming. Thanksgiving, Christmas, holidays, et al., though wonderful & meaningful, do not have permission to take away your growth, your worth, and your health.

So, in addition to enjoying this fabulous recipe, ask yourself what you really want to experience this holiday season? Who do you want to connect with? What ways will you share love with others? What events/parties do you not want to miss out on? How much can you realistically spend and not compromise your financial goals? And where can you cut back unnecessary stressors?
